The field of electrochemical energy systems encompasses two major components: electrochemical energy storage and electrochemical energy conversion. It holds vast application prospects in electric vehicles, hydrogen energy, mobile communications, energy storage, smart grids, renewable energy utilization, rail transportation, high-speed railways, aerospace, and defense industries. It will play a significant role in achieving the "dual carbon" goals. The International Conference on Electrochemical Energy Systems is founded by the Shanghai Electrochemical Energy Devices Engineering Technology Research Center at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
Since 2019, the "International Conference on Electrochemical Energy Systems" has been successfully held three times in the historic city of Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province, and the commercial hub of the ancient Silk Road, Yinchuan, Ningxia Province. More than 2,600 delegates from around the world have participated in the conference, generating significant impact in academia, industry, government, and investment sectors. It has become an influential international event in the field of electrochemical energy.
To promote technological advancement in the electrochemical energy system industry, strengthen international exchanges in electrochemical energy technology, and drive the development of electrochemical engineering disciplines, the "4th International Conference on Electrochemical Energy Systems" is scheduled to be held in Nanchang, China, from October 21st to 23rd, 2023. The International Society for Energy Storage Materials serves as the co-organizer of the conference.
