Process capability index

Process capability refers to the degree to which a process meets technical standards.


Note: A higher value of the process capability index indicates that the product's variability relative to the tolerance range of the technical standard is smaller, indicating higher process capability. Conversely, a lower value of the process capability index indicates that the product's variability relative to the tolerance range is larger, indicating lower process capability.
