How to view the control unit's IP address, serial number, and version

Today, we will demonstrate how to view the IP address, serial number, and version of the control unit.


  • Open the BTS software. Right-click on the workstation with ID 1. 

  • Select "Set and show control unit/tester" from the context menu.

  • Enter the password "neware". Now you can view the IP address, serial number, and version of the workstation.


You can also change the ID of the control unit. 


  • After modifying the ID number, click on "Set". You will need to remap the channels. 

  • Right-click on the right-hand side interface and select "Reset mapping". 

  • Map the necessary main and auxiliary channels, then click on "Save mapping" to complete the reset.
